HOW TO TAME A MINIATURE BOOK

Written and Illustrated by Christina Amato, 2007. NEW EDITION COMING SOON

Scholars have spent decades studying the rich history and biodiversity of the miniature book. After Christina Amato launched her 2007 exhibit exploring the life cycle and history of the miniature book, she realized  that there was a thirst for more information about these elusive little beasts. This led to How to Tame a Miniature Book, a thorough introduction to the subject, with multiple clear illustrations.

THE PET BOOK ™

I am lucky.

Every night when I come home from work, my little black cat runs to the door, crying out in welcome, and mashes his nose into mine with violent affection.

Perhaps you are not so lucky.  Allow me to offer a tiny substitute.

These little books might not be quite so demonstrative in their welcome, but what they lack in locomotive ability they make up for with open-ability.

They would be quite happy to perch on a bedside table in a guest room, where they might offer comfort to visiting friends while demonstrating their owners chic and vaguely literary decorating talent.

These are books in their pure form, unburdened by content. Full leather binding, sewn on raised cords with silk endbands, and each one has a unique design on the cover, tooled in 23.5 carat gold. Instruction manual, food, and cage are included. Very limited quantities. COMING SOON.
